Hongisto is an SF Bay Area artist whose work is grounded in questions of habitat and ecology; how we perceive, move through, and mark the environments we inhabit. His ongoing projects range from investigations of color phenomenon to skateboarding as non-objective process. Archives of drawings, installation art, photography, and paintings are collected here. He is currently Chair of the Department of Art + Architecture and Program Director of Fine Arts at the University of San Francisco.
